We are rebuilding a Nissen Hut on the old site.

This building was used for the storage and repair of the Norden Bomb Sight. The Norden Bomb sight was a form of computer which, would fly the aircraft on the bomb run over the target via the aircrafts auto pilot.

During the high winds of 20th March 2003 the side walls blew down bringing to the end any hope of having this building restored.

Other News

Restoration work has also been continuing on Richard's GMC bolster truck that he recently purchased in France. Although in running order and visually looking fine further work has been needed on the brakes and engine to ensure it passes its MOT. Whilst undertaking this work the opportunity was taken to carry out some remedial work on the cab and other areas to cure a few rust spots. Hopefully this work will have been completed by late April as it is intended that the bolster truck will be entered into the Ipswich to Felixstowe run this year.
